Autocheck Systems and HSBIB, also known as i-track, move forward together

Effective January 1, 2020, Autocheck Systems BV will acquire 100% of the shares in HSBIB. The acquisition is part of Autocheck Systems’ strategy to be the total supplier to libraries. Both companies’ core business is supporting libraries in self-service solutions, automation and visitor counters. Joining forces creates a strong and harmonious collaboration of knowledge and expertise, allowing for a greater range of services to be offered.
Marc de Lange, Director of Autocheck Systems, says, “Last year we became part of the German market leader for libraries, ekz.bibliotheksservice, with Autocheck Systems itself. The goal for us is to remain future-proof. As a Nedap partner for the Benelux, we have strengthened our position in the market with this acquisition and can further expand our services. The fact that we can now combine our own service organization with our own development department ensures that we can serve the customers of both HSbib and Autocheck Systems even better in the coming years. “
Jos van Zundert, HSBIB sales manager adds: “This acquisition sees us strengthen our position as a specialized supplier of automation solutions to libraries. As part of Autocheck Systems / ekz.bibliotheksservice, we now have access to a broader portfolio. We have retained our own itrack software and are now able to build this out better.”
For now, the companies will continue to operate under their own names. Therefore, for existing customers and partners, little to nothing will change in that area.
